Follow A48 north from Chepstow (signposted Gloucester) for approx 8 miles. Approx 1/2 mile after passing through Aylburton you'll come to a roundabout. Take the first exit (signposted Lydney). You will enter Lydney from the South (High Street). Follow the main road past Tesco, down the hill and over the railway line.

At the foot of the hill turn right into SWAN ROAD between the Swan Hotel and the motorcycle clothing shop (coaches take care turning). If you miss the turning, continue on the main road until just before the start of the hill out of town. Turn right opposite Woolworths and swing round the triangular island and back onto the main road. Drive back through town and try and get it right this time.

Swan Road is one way until you pass the garage. At this point DO NOT turn left. Instead, go straight on for approx 200 yards and turn left into the Car Park at the end of this road (immediately in front of the Cricket Club Boundary Barrier).

Follow A48 south from Gloucester (signposted Chepstow at the start of the A48) for approx 16 miles. Take exit signposted Lydney off the A48 (Bypass). You will enter Lydney from the North - Highfield Hill on the map.

Drive down the hill into the town (passing Woolworths and the Annexe Bar on your right). Immediately after passing over the second Pelican Crossing, turn left into SWAN ROAD between the Swan Hotel and the motorcycle clothing shop (coaches take care turning). If you go over a railway crossing, you've gone too far. Find somewhere to turn round and have another go.
